Investment Consultant and Research Manager

 

Rick Hunter joined D'Annunzio Consulting Group, LLC ("DCG") in October 2007 and is an Investment Consultant and Research Manager. He advises clients on asset allocation and investment selection decisions based on their unique circumstances. Rick is responsible for the design, implementation and oversight of the manager and investment product research process. As part of this process, he is in frequent contact with money managers and financial analysts to be sure that the flow of information is developed into due diligence reports in a timely and knowledgeable manner. Rick's experience with investments spans both traditional and alternative products.

 

Prior to joining DCG, Rick was a Vice President for CTC Consulting in Tacoma, Washington since 2005. At CTC, Rick served as Sr. Financial Analyst/Consultant, where he researched money managers and investment products for a select clientele with about $3 billion in assets. He also advised family groups and pension plans regarding asset allocation and investment policy. 

 

Prior to joining CTC, Rick worked for SNW Asset Management in Seattle, Washington, where he consulted with investment advisors and corporations on fixed income and liquidity portfolios in both taxable and tax-exempt markets. Rick also worked for Lehman Brothers in New York and San Francisco. There, he consulted to highly-compensated corporate executives and other high-net worth families, analyzing investment portfolios and developing customized strategic asset allocation solutions to fit their needs. Rick has advised clients in the investment industry since 1996, when he began his career as an investment advisor with Bank of America and its predecessor, Seafirst Investment Services, in Seattle, Washington. In this role, Rick served the investment needs of private clients located in the Pacific Northwest.

 

Rick was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2004 and is a member of the CFA Society of Seattle. He earned a BA degree with a double major in political science and communications in 1994 and an MBA degree with a concentration in finance and investment in 2002 - both from the University of Washington.

 

In his spare time, Rick enjoys traveling, skiing, scuba diving, tennis, golf and spending time with his wife and daughter.
